Director P. Vasu is working on the remake of Aptha Rakshaka in Tamil. It is a sequel to Aptha Mithra which was made as Chandramukhi in Tamil staring super star Rajinikanth, Prabhu, Nayanatara and Jyothika. Aptha Rakshaka starring late Vishnuvaradhan broke all the box office records in Kannada film history.
