Arsenal defender Gael Clichy says he will face some stiff competition to be selected by France coach Laurent Blanc in the left back position, despite Patrice Evra s absence. Clichy knows that Lyon stopper Aly Cissokho and Bordeaux defender Benedict Tremoulinas will also want a place in the Bleus line up left vacant by Evra, after he was handed a five match suspension for his part in the controversy at this summer s World Cup.
