Canadian wireless carrier Telus has recently announced that it will be the exclusive distributor of Motorola s Android based Backflip device in the country. Motorola revealed last week that it would launch three more handsets powered by Google's Android operating system in Canada, following the previous release of Milestone in the country, and Backflip will arrive on Telus s airwaves, it seems.

Wireless carrier Vodafone Romania announced recently the launch of a series of new own branded mobile phones for the users in the country, including the Vodafone 545, the Vodafone 541 and Vodafone 540. According to the company, the first of the three handsets is a new model that can cover all the basic communication needs of users, including Internet connectivity, while the other two are models already known to customers, as they were introduced at the end of the last year.

Apple today announced that its magical and revolutionary iPad will be available in the US on Saturday, April 3, for Wi-Fi models and in late April for Wi-Fi + 3G models. In addition, all models of iPad will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK in late April.
